Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing jameventpros.com or using any services provided by Joy and Marketing LLC (“JAM Events”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

JAM Events provides apartment community event planning, coordination, and execution services across Metro Atlanta, Georgia. Services include but are not limited to: pool parties, wine down events, movie nights, game nights, resident socials, holiday events, and custom events. Specific services, deliverables, and pricing are defined in individual booking agreements and invoices.

3. Bookings and Payments

  • Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a signed agreement and/or deposit as specified in your invoice.
  • Payment is due by the date shown on your invoice. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly fee.
  • Invoices are processed securely through Stripe. By paying, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service.
  • Georgia sales tax (4%) applies where required by law.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event date: full refund of any deposit, minus a $75 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations made 7–13 days before the event: 50% of the total invoice amount is forfeited as a cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the event: no refund. The full invoice amount is due.
  • JAM Events reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to circumstances beyond our control (severe weather, venue unavailability). In such cases, a full refund or rescheduling credit will be offered.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client (property management company or community) agrees to:

  • Provide accurate event details, venue access, and necessary permits
  • Ensure the venue is available and accessible at the agreed time
  • Notify JAM Events of any guest count changes at least 48 hours in advance
  • Ensure a property representative is available during the event
  • Comply with all applicable local ordinances, HOA rules, and building policies

6. Intellectual Property

All content on jameventpros.com — including text, graphics, logos, photos, and AI-generated flyers and materials — is the property of Joy and Marketing LLC. Event photos taken by JAM Events may be used for marketing purposes unless you provide written notice otherwise. You may not reproduce or distribute our content without prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JAM Events shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Joy and Marketing LLC, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or any claim by a third party related to your event.

9. Property Manager Portal

Access to the Property Manager Portal is granted at our sole discretion. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You may not share portal access with unauthorized third parties. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate portal access at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of DeKalb County, Georgia.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
